‘Perfumed By You’ is the debut single from London-based singer-songwriter Emma Bradley. Her roots as a pianist shine through in the work as she guides us from soulful piano balladry through contemporary R&B sounds. “It’s about having unrequited feelings for someone and not being able to snap out of it, as if you’re just a bit drunk on it,” she explains. “You are trying to get over them but can’t because everything around you is reminding you of them.” Bradley’s approach to songwriting comes from a desire to keep her music personal and vulnerable, while evoking emotion from her listeners.
